CMMDR Rule #22
When CMMDR gets in one’s car one should expect to hear “Matt Malloy” wherein the the owner of said car must respond with “the Book Value has just dropped.”
(22a Upon Leaving car the Owner must check for used Nicotine Gum Wrappers. There are no exceptions.)
CMMDR Rule #23
Even though one has lived in NYC for over six years it is imperative to continue to have a Postal Box in Midtown if only for fear of somehow screwing everything up. Which, if discontinued, it will. (see Rule 3 ½: All things involving MAIL will eventually go terribly wrong).
CMMDR Rule #23.4
If the subject of a Postal Box in Midtown comes up the person who has brought up the subject should remain suspicious while the CMMDR must act cagey. There are no exceptions to this.
CMMDR Rule #4,333
When traveling to Europe leave all electrical adapters one has bought on previous trips home allowing one to buy yet more adapters. If, however, you have remembered to bring any of the many adapters you have previously purchased with you it is important to buy a few more “just for the heck of it”.
(See Also Lost Passports, Missed Connections, Failed Upgrades, and Mice under "WHAT WILL GO WRONG WHILE TRAVELING")
CMMDR Rule #589
Continue to light burners on top of stove with a match even though said burners are made to safely electronically ignite and are therefore probably broken, creating a dangerous life-threatening situation. Also important to pretend its normal and act as if everyone's stove top in the building lights that way. Which they don't.
CMMDR Rule #499
Don’t offer ENSIGN to stay at apartment in London when your plans suddenly change and you go back to the states even though ENSIGN has made plans to come visit and was looking forward to it and therefore had to cancel his hoped for and highly anticipated trip. Don't even mention it or even think to suggest it. Simply go away and continue selfishly to complain about money.
