Ensign: John, how are you?
Cmmdr: I'm well Dennis, thanks for asking.
Ensign: good. you look well.  Are you working?
Cmmdr: not at the moment but I'm sure something will come up.
It always does!
Ensign: that it does, that it does.
Cmmdr: I had a great reading the other day but I fell out of the mix because I was too tall.
Ensign: that happens to me all the time. But it's not their fault. They just want the right man for the job. These  pilot scripts can get pretty damned complicated, thematically, emotionally; these teleplays we see are state of the art, but thank god, huh? I love knowing i'm working on the best material.
Cmmdr: I agree with you there Denny. I feel flattered just reading the sides.
Ensign: I'm  waiting for something to come up too, but I love the free time.
Cmmdr: hey!  I caught Survival on the Mountain last night. Damn you were good.
Ensign: thanks, it was a wonderful experience too. Script was very well done and the director was a smart kind man. Even the casting lady was just a love.
Cmmdr. Are you busy tonight? I'm having dinner with TJ and Dave.
Ensign. Darn! I have to be home to help Costa wash his hair, then we're shopping for a new Camry for him. He wants it in red and silver.
Cmmdr: no worries. What about later?
Ensign: no, I have to shave. Then All Of MTC is helping me hem some new trousers I bought. ( a homeless man passes by). Here friend, take this. (The Ensign gives the homeless man a fifty dollar bill).
Cmmdr: You are the real deal Denny.
Ensign: I just feel so fortunate and want to give back.
Cmmdr: I heard that!
