WORD OF THE DAY DEPT.

flagitious

PRONUNCIATION:
(fluh-JISH-uhs)

MEANING:
adjective: Extremely wicked or criminal.

CMMDR: That some actors carve out massive careers in spite of their mediocrity is one of the flagitious quirks of show business

ENSIGN: My car's book value dropped considerably after the    CMMDR's flagitious flatulence.

lower case Gothamite:  During a HERSHEY'S SIMPLE PLEASURES audition, lower case gothamite made an off-hand remark that has since been deemed flagitious by a tetchy casting director.

CMMDR: The CMMDR enjoys the Ensign's company, though being subjected to the tyrant's caustic flagitious comments can wear him down.

ENSIGN:       The ENSIGN, while hauling away hundreds of discarded empty Nicorette wrappers left behind from a Post-CMMDR Cartage to and fro around the 5 Boros, wonders to himself why he is labeled as 'flagitious' when he is clearly generous and open-hearted to a fault, giving support when the CMMDR's  mood turns dark, allowing him  to take credit for food he neither helped prepare nor pay for, and listening to him go on and on when Tom, Josh, Patrick, Charlie, Renee, Don, and Jay are too busy  to hear how THE CMMDR didn't do well at some two-bit audition when, in fact, he actually did, but does he ever apologize for leaving said message that was so obviously a whining falsehood?  Please...

As to flagitious flatulence...
lowercase gothamite suspects, with not a little regret,
that the Jenkins' living room bean-bag chair is currently
being re-purposed by our cheerfully industrious hosts
as a BEAN-O bag chair.

Although holding herself fully accountable as the sole
author of the "chair's" degradating demotion in RANK to
that of "tuffet of shame," she would like to point out that
her SITuation was most assuredly influenced by the
serious side effects related to the ingestion of a
mighty enjoyable high-fructose desert item,
followed by an effervescent chaser of high quality
golf jokes.
