"The Magic Markers" have long been considered one of the most uniquely dedicated tribute bands of "The Doors". Their 147 minute cover of "Light My Fire", is a beloved mainstay among college radio stations throughout the Midwest. Especially during finals.
Thanks to a lava-hot bidding war on Ebay, a rare bootleg recording of their legendary "White Box" sessions has re-surfaced -- Sparking some buzz-worthy credibility around the urban legend that Jim Morrison may have indeed faked his own death.
Now a YouTube sensation, the band's fully remastered set-list will earn a place in the pantheon of "iTunes Cover Essentials" in the Fall of 2012. Could it be that these "Riders On The Storm" are finally set to "Break On Through To The Other Side"?

Greil and I have come to an understanding.
We simply agree to disagree.
This is known in the music industry as
"The Détente Of Dilettantes."
(also, coincidentally, the name of a Ramones tribute band)
