From HEBREW AND ADRIFT

Little, Brown. reprinted with permission.
chapter 43. p. 345

…on the set of Three Lives of Karen, the embittered Jew complained to the first AD about a smell in his trailer. The first, apparently fed up at this point by the constant carping of the #27 actor on the call sheet, called to complain himself to the Ensign’s agent, who told the first AD that indeed, the Ensign “could be difficult.” (Sources are uncertain as to who this agent may be as the Ensign was changing agents so fast at this point that his very process of representation turnover was being used as a fan in certain neighborhoods of west L.A.) The smell, incidentally, turned out to be the Ensign’s career, and in fact, was of such a putrid odor that the trailer was junked and never used again.
After wrapping, and back in Hebron, enmeshed in a torrid affair with Jeff Koh, the small thesp was once again trying to find work. Complaining to a neighbor about the business, the fellow volunteered to take out his manager. “I’ll kill him; I’ll kill him with a gun,” said the neighbor, unable as always to make eye contact. ‘Constant Comment’ (as the Ensign was affectionately called behind his back by those who knew him), assured the fellow that wasn’t necessary.
673.
